My name is Brian, and I do business as Old 37 Media LLC.

I’m an obstinate generalist — that is to say, I don’t specialize in one particular thing. I think tech careers push people in the direction of over-specialization, and I don’t think that’s a good thing.

Mostly, I make websites. I design them, I code them, and I even write the copy that appears on them. But I also love working with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and online video, email newsletters, and more. So I made up a job for myself where I get to do it all.
